SUSTAINABLE LIVING CLASSES

Part of understanding the road to health and wellness is recognizing our connection to our food sources and the earth. Sustainable Living Classes, taking place at Symbiosis Ranch, a biodynamic farm just outside of Mount Pleasant, offers training in food preservation, biodynamic farming and gardening, raising livestock, and more.

Half day, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. cost $40; Full day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. cost $75. Registration is required by calling (989) 773-3636.

Always wear old clothes suited to work, shoes for mud, skin coverage for sun and insects, a good pair of gloves even on kitchen days, and a healthy sack lunch.
